The 2019 Mazda CX-5 is perfection on four wheels

Launched in 2012, the CX-5 is a compact crossover by Mazda. The car is the first vehicle to feature Mazda’s Skyactiv Technology (a technology developed by Mazda to improve the fuel efficiency and engine output of its cars). The CX-5 models feature a new series of engines and transmissions that are designed to lower emissions and fuel consumption.

The CX-5 offers plenty of storage space and delivers a quiet, comfortable, and smooth ride. Since it was launched in the first half of this year, the latest version of the car has won the hearts of both car lovers and Mazda critics. So what’s so special about the car? To answer this question, we have compiled a list of features of the 2019 Mazda CX-5 in New Castle.

1. Performance The 2019 CX-5 is designed to be a top performer in its segment. The latest iteration of the compact crossover comes with the supremely efficient Skyactiv -G 2.5T that makes 250 hp of raw, unadulterated power, and 310 lb-ft. of torque. In addition, i-Active AWD is designed to monitor throttle input, braking patterns, and outside temperature and predict when all-wheel drive is needed.

Thanks to several engine and other upgrades, the 2019 CX-5 has a better throttle response and a quick acceleration.

2. Interior
The 2019 CX-5’s interior is designed to give you a taste of royalty. The interior includes premium materials such as Caturra Brown Nappa leather seats, a black cloth headliner, and a genuine-layered wood trim. Ambient cabin lighting adds a dash of sophistication, and the interiors feature sound-dampening materials that are designed to absorb outside noise.

3. Safety features The 2019 Mazda CX-5 is loaded with advanced safety features including Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning, Lane-Keep Assist, and Cruise Control with Stop and Go. Blind Spot Monitoring helps you avoid colliding with fast-approaching vehicles in your blind spot.

When the system detects that you’re unintentionally leaving your lane, Lane Departure Warning issues audible alerts. If you fail to respond, Lane Keep Assist may perform minor steering corrections to get your vehicle back into its lane. Cruise Control with Stop & Go helps maintain a safe distance between your CX-5 and the vehicle in front of it.
